Girls, I am telling you, it did seem like a short night, didn't it? And from here, it's all downhill, as we build back to December 22, being the shortest day of the year. But downhill does not mean Joan Didion; hell, it won't even be noticed till sometime later in September. So, enjoy all the extended sun and fun while you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, yes, Joan was a brilliant
writer, but quite a character.
She went through so much, but I am sure
