A lot that was unexpected, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For starters, the Queen--not me, darlings, but the REAL one, Elizabeth II--passed away on September 8. Then there was the anniversary of September 11, which was sad. Then, next day was Frank Mills Day, and, yes, I sang it.
But something crept into our home during the aftermath of the now infamous Bat Mitzvah, to which we were excluded, and, for which, by the way, we have not yet received a thank you note for our gift. The following Monday, we had dinner with a friend who attended said event, and by Sunday following--this would have been the 18th--David came down with Covid. Great! He was freaked, and so was I. Fortunately, both of us were vaxed. David sailed through it pretty well, but I have to confess, Saint Bernadette must have riding on my shoulder, because I did not get a bit sick! Go figure! Talk about miracles! I am certainly grateful for this.
On September 23, Oscar winner and Hollywood's one-time foremost bitch, and great actress at playing such, Louise Fletcher, passed away, at age 88. How sad to see the greats go.
Meanwhile, back to our house, after Covid, the tower on our computer went, which is why there has been such a long time between posts. What's left to say? Well, Svengoolie's last week screening of "Gargoyles" turned out to be "The Grayson Hall Show," for as long as this actress appeared on screen, never without a liquor bottle, which I am sure contained the real stuff! To get through this script, and this shoot, one would have needed it.
Not to mention the arrival of autumn. So, that was our September, darlings. We got through it but let us hope October is kinder to us.
On to the next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
