Today Is Spy Wednesday, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                 Not the happiest of days, girls, but for those of us raised Catholic, an important part of Holy Week, which comes to a grinding halt this Sunday, which is Easter.

                                                    Spy Wednesday is when Judas made the done deal, betraying Jesus.  Pure and simple.  And of course, he could not live with himself afterward, so he hanged himself.

                                                     So, while this is a tragic day, it is to be remembered, because it set the motion the steps leading up to the Resurrection.  That's the positive spin.

                                                        It does not mean, as small children may think, that you spy on someone, or, if older, practice voyeurism.  It means you remember how things got started, and what hot it all ultimately culminated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
