Well, I am not, darlings, but on this day in the year of the Lord, 1692, the people of Whitewood, Massachusetts condemned Elizabeth Selwyn as a witch. It was hoped that the flames would cleanse her evil, and her lust for blood that made her bring about the death of Abigail Adams.
This, of course, darlings, is for aficionados of the 1960 film "The City Of The Dead," which I like better, but was distributed in America as "Horror Hotel."
She curses the town, and within a year the children of those who condemned her die mysteriously. Her ghost was said to be seen walking in the cemetery.
Just another thing that makes March a fun month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And please, girls, if you go to your execution, try to look better than this!

I don’t understand either, why the change from “The City Of The Dead” to “Horror Hotel”??
The original title was perfect!!
Also the actress who played
Nan was named VENETIA!!!
And they named her character “Nan” ????
Victoria, Yes, the actress was Venetia Stevenson. It was her first film. Why
Nan seemed to me to be an attempt to Americanize the story. Remember,
the reverend's niece is named Pat.
