We Got What We Wanted, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!! We Got Tovah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                        This theater season, which started out a dud, is certainly shaping up with excitement, girls.  No sooner had Monsieur and I gotten our tickets to "The Glass Menagerie," then comes word, that, as I predicted, Tovah Feldshuh--Tovah!  We Love You!--will be stepping into the role of Berthe   in the Diane Paulus revival of "Pippin."

                                          Which, as you may know, when it first opened, I had absolutely NO intention of seeing.  But now, with Tovah--whom I cannot wait to hear belt out "No Time At All;" hell, the entire theater audience will be singing along with her!!!!!--featured, I would not miss this for the world.

                                            So, now we have to check our calendar tonight, and find just the exact time to take in Tovah!!!!!!!!!!  If only there were a TONY for Best Broadway Replacement!!!!!!!!!  Tovah would
be a contender, for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                              With so much theatrical excitement--don't forget Jessie Mueller as Carole King, darlings--who knows what is going to be next????????  Meryl Streep as Mame?????????  Blythe
Danner as Hannah Jelkes????????????
