Girls, Join Us Tonight At 8PM, As "Svengoolie" Presents The Final July Offering, 1958's "The Haunted Strangler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It has Boris Karloff, darlings, so you know it is not as trashy as "Ghoulies."  In fact, it is very similar, having just seen it, to "The Unseen," which I will write moe about, at length, in the near future.

This is one of those thrillers where the viewer is sure the killer is one person, only it turns out to be someone else.  It bears some similarity to "She Wolf Of London," and "Daughter Of Dr. Jekyll."

Most importantly, it marked the final film of actress Elizabeth Allan, most memorable for her performances in two David O. Selznick films--1935's "A Tale Of Two Cities," and his brilliant adaptation of "David Copperfield."  Imagine, from that, to getting strangled to death as one's final film moment.  Well, dolls, that's show biz.

So, join us tonight at 8PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may not be "The Uninvited," but it is better than the "Ghoulies" films!!!!!!!!!!

See you at tonight at eight, darlings!  Have a cool Sea Breeze with you to drink!!!!!!!!!

we are definitely staying home!!
ugh hasn’t this weather been brutal.
To think I used to be able to spend summer days outdoors!!
I read what you said about young children and social media, and I meant to tell you, my friend’s grandchild is apparently on it at age FOUR!! I have heard of parents giving children ipads at that age, but actual Social Media?!!!
My God!!!

Victoria,
Children that young need to be monitored on social media,
because you and I know what is out there, and they could stumble
upon something sick and dangerous that might traumatize them.

The heat broke here yesterday. What a blessing. But it is
coming back later in the week, and we are going to a barbecue
on Saturday.

Yes, I really think kids of All ages should monitored more closely on social media!!
maybe a little More freedom in real life, a little Less online!!!

Victoria,
Freedom in life, playing outside, like the summers of our childhood.
Too many kids become disconnected too soon.
