And don't forget today is the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest! Will Joey Chestnut be able to maintain his record???????? Go, Joey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David and I had a quiet forth, watching the fireworks.
on TV, seeing Ruthie sing in DC--she opened, singing
"The Star-Spangled Banner' in that gorgeous voice of hers.
