For Those Able, Tune In To "Svengoolie" Who Is Offering A Gem Saturday Night--The Original 1960 Version Of "Village Of The Damned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

                                            I can't recall if "Svengoolie" has ever shown this before, but it is an excellent film.  It is based on John Wyndham's excellent 1957 novel, The Midwich Cuckoos."  An English village is overcome by an alien force that simultaneously impregnates all the childbearing women of the town.  When these offspring are born, they lack empathy, can read people's minds, and have weird, glowing eyes that can destroy.  These kids are definitely NOT all right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                            Martin Stephens, so good the following year as Miles in "The Innocents," plays the children's leader.  It is a weird, macabre film, and the atmosphere is filled with tension, as these children exude no sense of innocence.  They have nothing to hide.

                                              Especially for those never having seen it, this is a must.  David and I will record it, and watch it at a later time, but if you are available at 8PM this Saturday, tune it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
