Oh, My God, Girls!!!!!!!!!! You Are NOT Going To Believe THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out this yesterday about ANNA--yes, darlings, OUR ANNA!!!!!!!--and at first thought it was a joke, which would have been in bad taste after the Kate Middleton-Queen Impersonation-Nurse Suicide tragedy--but the following is serious.

                                                   Propositions are afoot for ANNA to succeed Louis Sussman as the United States Ambassador to the U.K.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                      I think this is a fabulous idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Let's start with what she will do for the style, alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And ANNA IS a UK citizen, having been born and raised there!!!!!!!!  If she has to take some time to do some ambassadorship over there, you know who could be running VOGUE New York while she is gone, don't you!!!!!!!!!!  Of course; our beloved Grace Coddington, who seems to turn up everywhere these days, from subway stations, to doctor's offices!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                         No less a personage than President Obama has suggested ANNA, so this is for real, kids!!!!!!!!  What we don't yet know is how ANNA feels about it, or if she wants it!!!!!!!!!! But I think she should take it!!!!!!!!!!!  And, no, to some wags, she will NOT remove her signature sunglasses at meetings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                          I keep wishing Anna could come to my workplace. We need organization and guidance badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                           What I want to know--if she does take the job, who will keep an eye on that silly Andre Leon Talley????????????????  I get the feeling he tries Grace's patience!!!!!!!!  As well as everyone at VOGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                            He's like that commercial for, is it, "Sinners Of Sin City," or something, to that effect, where the coiffed women are riding down the street on adult scooters, and one of them says--"If  I want a monkey, I get a monkey!"  Exactly, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
