What Is Wrong With The Iconic "Web Of Lies" Commercial??????????????

                                 In case you haven't seen it darlings, it goes like this.

                                 An attractive young blonde woman is in her bedroom, before a mirror, seeing how a red dress looks, while she is texting her prospective online date.  They are both excited to  be meeting in person, and he asks her to wear the red dress.  She gets scared, not realizing how he knows she owns one.  Until he reminds her of a picture she sent of her in  it.  Relieved, she says, "I thought you were watching me."

                                And you know what?  He was, or is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                The first thing wrong is this woman's naivete. The minute she asked the question about the dress, she ought to have seen a red flag.  But she doesn't.

                                The other is she is an attractive woman, not a plain spinster, and it looks like she is living in a house straight out of "Meet Me In St. Louis."  At this young age?  How?  Unless it is her parents' house.  Or she rents a room in it.

                                 This last seems to be the answer, because, when the camera pulls back, to show the psycho watching, her bedroom can be seen to be on the first floor.  Who would have a bedroom there?  Unless she was a renter!

                                  I really wish the story of this commercial had been expanded for the show, because there is so much wrong with it, it would be interesting to see how it plays out.

                                   As for the guy watching, while he looks better than most psychos of his type--hey, these ARE actors, after all!!!!!!!--one thing is perfectly clear.

                                    This loser lives at home, with Mommy.  Even if she is or is not alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!
