This Episode Was So Scary, Darlings!!!!!!!!!! I Mean, When Amanda Was Supposed To Be Giving Declan Head???????????????????????????????

Poor Detective Amanda Rollins, wonderfully played by Kelli Giddish, on "Law And Order SVU" can't seem to get a break.  When she is not being called "trailer trash," after coming up North to New York , to reinvent herself, like many transplanted Southerners, she is menaced by gambling thugs.  But things are never quite what they seem.

As I watched last night's episode, "Gambler's Fallacy," I thought this was going to be Kelli Giddish's Swan Song on the show.  It certainly looked that way, and the prospect was disappointing to me, because I still say Amaro (Danny Pino) is the one they should get rid of.

This episode featured some real bitches on it. Let's start with Donal Logue, in a wonderful performance, as Lt. Declan O'Rourke, or Murphy, take your pick. The sleaze Rollins was supposed to be giving head to, but who was really revealing himself to her as an undercover cop,  working at the club, who recognizes her predicament, and wants to  help her. By the end of the episode, when they finally part ways, I was saying, bring Donal on to the show!  First, he is hot!  Second, Olivia is doing such a piss poor job as Sergeant.  She is SO out of her league; she cannot fill Captain Cragen's shoes (the great Dann Florek) or the even greater Anita Van Buren (played by the even greater S. Epatha Merkerson.  The squad needs a Figure Of Authority in there, not some power mad, unfulfilled Career Bitch, which is what Olivia, minus Stabler, has been reduced to.  So, either bring Stabler back in command, or get Donal  on board! Ummmmmmmmm, he would be the yummiest thing on the franchise, since Linus Roache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about that  most annoying of actors, Lothaire, Bluteau, as Anton Nadari, the shady art dealer???????  It is amazing to me how this actor gets work.  I mean, his fake accents are SO faux, darlings! He is NO Meryl!!!!!!!!!  He has aged, but those in the know can still recognize him as that French professor who raped and killed one of his students.  Now, here, he is, supposedly the father of the baby, borne by the Biggest Bitch Of All Here--an excellent Shari Saum, in the role of Sondra Vaughn, the supposed Ivy League Art History worker, masquerading as a Gambling Princess???????    Too bad she was pregnant, because, if she was not, Kelli should have shot her, when she had the chance. But, they all got their comeuppances,, darlings.  The franchise had to be desperate this week to use Bluteau; I hope we never see him again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He always comes off like lead contender for Fag Of The Year!!!!!  But that Sondra!  She needed a good smack!

And Amanda....playing fast and lose with both sides of the law.  See what trouble that gets you into, girls??????????  I say, if you have a gambling addiction, go to meetings, or do nothing stronger than "Mille Bornes" with M and M's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This may not have been one of the best episodes, but it was one of the more interesting. The interest is in what it will bode for things in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                               I still say--bring Donal/Declan on board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
