Girls, It Was The Wedding Of Weddings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darlings, not since Julie Andrews marched down the aisle in that wedding gown, in "The Sound Of Music, did I cry such tears, at a wedding!  The marriage of our friends, Tynisha and Meghann, plus the baptism of Baby Elijah, was like a Spring dream.

When we walked in to the gorgeousness of Riverside Church, up near Columbia U, the brides were on the altar, exchanging their vows.  It was so touching, darlings!  And the gowns!  That black sash around Tynisha's  white, lace dress--I have GOT to have one, darlings!!!!-- and the bow behind Meghann's satin Jean Harlow like gown--oh, my God!!!!!!!!!--made for a stunning designer look that would have impressed even Anna Wintour!

And Baby Elijah, with a full head of hair, a gorgeous pink gown, was pretty glamorous at 2 months, herself!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This infant could grace a magazine cover; just wait till she gets to Smith!

The Bridal Daddies were hot stuff, singing and dancing their way through the ceremony like seasoned show biz troupers!  They should stay in New York, and make the rounds; I bet they would be signed up, pretty quick!

The cocktail hour was elegant and sumptuous, in a room filled with guests, and offering spectacular views of Columbia at one end, and the Hudson/Palisades at the other!

But the dining hall was the highlight!  The cherry blossoms on the tables--how romantic!   The elegant little gifts of soap bars and coasters!  Having the Couple's Table, in center, complete with Baby Elijah's crib, was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!  The meal--chicken with string beans and carrots, was simple and elegant, the wine flowed, so did the champagne, and a good time was had by all.

Blessings on Tynisha, Meghann and Baby Elijah, from the Raving Queen and Monsieur.  What an inspiration for the upcoming ceremony we have planned--and will keep you posted on, here!

But Tynisha, you will have to teach me how to move in a gown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
