Yes, he is millions of years old, but this day is to commemorate the first time he became known to the public. On this day, 69 years ago, just 15 days before I was born, the original 1954 Japanese version of his movie was first shown in this country in an art house in Los Angeles.
He is more than happy to allow ANNA the first posting. He wants to get on the cover of "VOGUE." It is about time. Hey, ANNA, how about it!
And, tonight, this house is going to celebrate his birthday by watching the original Japanese movie, which is an artistic masterpiece. And I always cry at the ending.
But Gojira wants us not to be sad; after all, even he says it is "just a movie."
I am sure Gojira will celebrate with the biggest chocolate cake there is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cried real tears at the end. But Gojira went on to become one of the biggest movie stars.
He even has his own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, and he appeared one year on the Academy Awards.
