Darlings, It Takes A Lot To Upstage Toby's Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, lambs, we went to this scrumptious baby/literary event at my home away from home, Three Lives and Company Bookstore. The occasion was to meet and greet Miles, recently arrived son of proud parents Amanda and Evan. Amanda looked fabulous, and Evan, even with a baby in the house, did not look sleep deprived!!!! But what a charmer little Miles was--giggly, smiling, flirting--able to upstage everyone in the room, including Toby's famous cookies (superb, as always!!!) which were on hand, along with other luscious refreshments!!!!!

I have to confess, with Amanda being a staffer at Three Lives, I expected to walk in, seeing Miles clutching a volume of Proust!!!! Or at least Thomas Pynchon, or David Foster Wallace!!!!!! No Jackie Collins for this lad, I can tell you!!!! Do you think his parents would allow that???? Hell, do you think I would!!!!!!

It was a lovely gathering, and Miles was the star of the show!!!! Only time I have seen Toby's cookies upstaged!!!!

And this kid has a lot of energy!!! Before you know it, Amanda, books will be flying off those shelves!!!!!!

Darlings, it was a lovely start to a lovely day, and a perfect kickoff to Musical Theater Week!!!!!
