What The Hell Is A "Long Island Theater Couple?????????????"

More to the point, darlings, what does Long Island count for anything?

Manhattan has always abounded with theatrical couples and dynasties.  There were The Barrymores, The Lunts, The Tandy-Cronnins, and now The Keenan-Bolgers!!!!!!!!!   But Long Island?
Yet, that his how Ed and Sue Anne Dennehy were referred to when their deaths were announced on Saturday.

I am certainly sorry they are dead. But it so mysterious.  It seems Sue Anne succumbed to cancer, at the age of 68, at Melville's Hospice Inn. The couple resided in Huntington--very Long Island, darlings!!!!!!!!--and  when family members went to break the news to Ed, who was 69, they found he was dead.

What happened?  Did love take them both, which would be beautiful? Did Ed die of a broken heart????????  Was it suicide?????????

The whole thing is mysterious, including call them a "Long Island Theater Couple."  They played a lot of the houses on the community theater circuit on the Island, but how do they rate such distinction??????????   I mean, did they entertain the Manhattan theater city at their home, with weekend parties????????  Now, that would count for something.

I mean, let's face it, hons, Long Island is for Manhattanites who get worn down, or child worn, and want to replicate their suburban childhoods, for their kids.  A sure guarantee those kids will fell the Island, as soon as they are able!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just what exactly does one do......there???????????????????
