That is right, girls. Today marks the fifty-sixth anniversary of the release of what I consider The Beatles' masterpiece, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." Of course, I played it first thing when I got up this morning, and I will play it for you, as this blog post ends.
It transcended rock, to become an artistic masterpiece of the highest degree. The cover is still one of the best of all time, and the concept is perfection. June is an especially interesting month, and it starts here with 'Sgt. Pepper.'
