Hey! What If Shirley Temple Had Been Cast In "The Bad Seed????????????????????"

                            From the looks of things, darlings, it looked like Shirley was anxious to shed her cutesy pie image a good decade before auditioning for the role of Veda in "Mildred Pierce."

                              "The Bad Seed" had not even been written when this photo was shot, so this was way ahead of the times.  Imagine if Shirley had played Rhoda. That innocence with a knife would have given her a whole different career, maybe even an adult Oscar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                  I just LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Shirley, even at that age, knew how to camp things up!!!!!!!!!!!
