                                  Today is a big day for Mary, being the Feast Of the Immaculate Conception.  And, on this night, 62 years ago, "The Bad Seed" opened on Broadway, establishing then little Patty McCormack, forever, as Rhoda Penmark.

                                   I thought would be a nice day to show off Santa, who is busy getting things ready for his big journey, which is coming up.  Why shouldn't he take a rest?  With all he has to do?  The only thing that seems to be missing is a Coca-Cola bottle!  But this was Victorian times; that came later.

                                      And, in keeping with the theme of Santa, here is Jimmy Boyd's classic rendition of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus."
