Welcome, October, Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                               Here we sail, into the tenth month!  Today happens to be the 81st--oh, my God!--birthday of Julie Andrews, so happy birthday, Jules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                While I love all the macabre trappings October brings, let us pray there is not too much of the macabre in reality this month. We have had our share lately, as the news can testify. And we are one month closer to the election, which is a macabre event, this year, in its own right. Who could have known?
