I Love This Year's Korbel Commercial, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you seen, and heard it?  It is simply fabulous girls.  The lyrics go something like this--           "I've traveled the world, and see,
                            Nothing could ever beat,
                            Being with you,
                            Together forever!"

The song is actually called "Together Forever," and it by Gio Galanti.  But I love the way the girl on the soundtrack sings it so New York-ese, as the camera revolves.  Her "r" sounds have an "uh" quality that gives it that New York tone.

Well, as Alfred Hitchcock once said of 'Tippi' Hedren--"Find me that girl!"  I want to know who this is, singing this song on this ad.  Because she could be a big star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just tune in and watch this ad!  It will stop you in your tracks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The vocalist is British; not sure where you're getting "New York-ese" vibe from, as it is clearly a South London accent with which the song is sung. Nonetheless, I do dig the song like you do.

Unknown,

I never knew there was such a thing
as a South London accent. Hope this
ad airs this year, come holiday time!

This singer clearly has British southern working class accent (London Cockney). There were a few posts of the tune floating around on YouTube, but no more. I believe Producer/Composer Gio Galanti probably had YouTube take all those versions down. Now, it can only be found on his SoundCloud site. And there is no accreditation for the female singer, which is very lame. He wrote a clever jingle tune, but it is the female singer's vocal performance that brought this to life. It is her performance that made tune go viral. The original synch was for some Euro furniture company (French? Italian?) TV commercial, put I cannot find it anymore. Gio looks a right pig for not crediting the singer. Even his jokey foto on this post shows him grabbing the mic away from Taylor Swift kind of underscores the point.

The Southern Italy Tourism commecial is cool, but the soundtrack is poluted with actors voices interjected on top of the jingle.

Michael, Thank you for sharing all this info I never knew about. Sadly, that ad was not shown on TV here during the holiday season. Feel free to drop in here anytime.
