Give Me A Bitch Who's A Stout Hearted Bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girls, I wouldn't call the heart of this week's winner of the Raving Queen Bitch Of The Week Award stout; it's more like a thin sliver, sharp at the ends, like a cold, icicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This gal has ice in her veins, but, to be fair, let me say, her story starts on a sympathetic note.

The story of our winner, Ann Stout (or Ann Marie Stout, as she is sometimes known as!!!!!!!!) points out the damage that can accrue if someone in deep emotional pain does not get help.  Because, up to a very specific point, she is easily sympathetic.

Married for about 20 years, living in Darby, Montana , raising two boys with her construction worker husband, Bill, they were typical..  Though I am not sure how astute a place Montana is when it comes to dealing with mental illness, which is where things get murky.

The trouble began when the Stouts were dealt a blow no parent should have to face, one the now renowned Clementis still live with, every day.  At the age of 19, when he was  a freshman in college, the Stouts' oldest son, Ben, committed suicide.  My heart goes out to both of them.  Now, I was not able to ascertain the circumstances of young Mr. Stout's death, so I am safe to assume the circumstances were different from that of Tyler Clementi.

This tragedy drove a wedge into the Stouts' marriage.  Each dealt with their grief privately, not facing each other, not reaching out to others.  They also, at times, accused the other of having something to do with their son's death.

Along about this time, comes a high school reunion for Bill.  He decides to go, to take his mind off things. Ann decides she does not want to go, which is fine with him.

Reunions are often about reconnecting, but when Bill went there, and met his former high school sweetheart, Barbara, not only did they reconnect, they CONNECTED!!!!!!!!!   Uh, huh, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!  You know what I mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They even promised to keep things going, once Bill returned to Darby, with Barbara, maybe, moving nearby.

Once home, reality sank in for Bill, he called Barbara, explained he had to end things.  She was OK with it, but made one valiant effort, by sending an email, and that was it.  Bill even came clean with Ann, who, while devastated, seemed to forgive him.

But things were never quite the same.

Over the next several years, Bill began getting the "Fatal Attraction" treatment.  Harassing emails from Barbara, an anonymous tip off to Ann about her husband's actions, and, finally, the family car riddled with broken eggs and feces!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Like, gross, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who would do such a thing?????????

Everyone's money was on Barbara.  But when Barbara was questioned, she fessed up, bravely.  Yes, she sent one email after the reunion, but that was it.  She had not been near Darby, or Bill, or Ann, not even to sneak in and wreck the car.

                                                           Police were stymied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But you and I know better, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know who the perpetrator was?????????

Right!  This week's Bitch Of The Week, and Bill's own wife--Ann Stout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is some piece of work, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was bad enough suffering the loss of her son, through suicide.  But, then, to be humiliated by a husband who betrays them, and their marriage, by a tryst with a high school flame?????????

This was too much for Ann, who, without the mental health help she should have received, sneaked into their bedroom on June 11, 2007--barely six years ago, darlings!!!!!!!--and shot Bill three times, once in the head, with a thirty eight caliber gun.

Additionally shocking was that it had been Ann herself, who had been given Bill the "Fatal Attraction" treatment, putting the blame on Barbara.  I guess this bitch wanted to frame Barbara for the murder, too!  It seemed to be her ultimate goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And all because of rage at domestic betrayal.  You know, I am convinced, that, had the Stouts not had the tragedy of their son's suicide imposed on them, Ann may not have reacted like this.  But, with this additional trigger, and the lack of mental help, everything exploded, to the point, where she did not even think about her other child, as she pumped lead into Bill!!!!!!!!!  And, later, at her trial, that surviving son, I understand, testified against her.

Time and again, Ann could have done something to prevent all this, but she did not. Which makes her tragic, but also makes her a Grade A bitch, and thus this week's winner.  Now behind bars for Life, Ann can contemplate this honor, which will be the last one she receives.

And you have to wonder about the repressive nature of people in these rural, pastoral looking places, where no one has the self-awareness to seek help that could avert tragedy.

Ann's is quite a story, having been told both on "Snapped", as well as Investigation Discovery's "On The Case With Paula Zahn," and "Sins And Secrets," where I saw it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this all gives you some satisfaction, Ann, darling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MT-Mom,
Listen, doll, I do not write crap!
I show nothing for compassion for what
the Stouts endured, regarding the suicide
of the sun. Someone I know did it, and
it still haunts me.

But harassing her husband and then shooting him?
Over something that could easily have been worked
out, had she sought help!

Obviiously, she was not thinking clearly. And
I see nothing offensive in saying that!

This case fascinates me. Personally I think she should have forced him to sell the property and took half. Got child support for her minor Som and moved on with her life. She has choices, she chose an extreme one. She is suffering the consequences.

ambi79,

I could not agree with you
more. Careful choices could have
sent her life spinning in a better
direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"All drama for what??" If anything, that's a question you should direct at Ann Stout. Why the need to create all that ridiculous stalker drama, which bear in mind didn't just torment Bill but also their own children and others! Then she murdered Bill, since apparently everyone hadn't suffered enough for her satisfaction. Everything that's been said in this blog is true. So if you have an issue, maybe you should take it up with the person who actually committed those acts and that created this drama in the 1st place. Not the person who's simply relaying the events. Because if not for Ann's actions, there'd be nothing to blog about.

Unknown,
Exactly! Had I not been made
aware of Ann Stout, I would never
have written about her!

Just watched this story on NBC Dateline and was fascinated by it. The apparent denial of reality by the murderous wife was beyond anything I've seen since OJ.
